Ghost Rails XII: Seamless and B&W History, Tubular Products Division

The history of the Babcock & Wilcox Steel Mill in Beaver Falls, PA. Also included is the Pittsburgh Seamless Tube Company, the facilities operated by B&W, the Wallace Run Steel Mill, Koppel Steel, the Pennyslvania Railroad Economy Branch, and the Ambridge mill operations. The Main Plant at Beaver Falls and the Wallace Run Steel Mill is shown with hundreds of 1st time photographs, detailing the history of seamless and stainless tubing from the electric furnaces, hot mills, rolling mills, pickling, and thru the cold draw process.
