National Trails Day / Darlington Days Hike

Approximately 3 miles.  Easy to moderate hiking with hills.  Park behind the First United Presbyterian church. We’ll start the day at the Darlington trailhead and follow the lovely Little Beaver Creek, then go uphill to the Secedar cemetery and turn around at the Rt 51 bridge crossing where we can view the traffic below us. Then return down hill to town in time for festivities which include multiple food and shopping vendors and activities (wampum chapters hiking stick carving included). Be a part of the fun!
Sturdy footwear is recommended. Bring your own personal beverage and/or snack if you wish. We will have Athletic Brewing non alcoholic beers available courtesy of American Hiking society’s National Trails Day promotion.

While planning your trip to this event, stop by the Little Beaver Historical Society and explore the local history of northern Beaver County and surrounding region.  Learn about our open museum dates and times, or make an appointment to visit the museum.
