The removal and renovation of the Watts Mill Bridge has begun. The bridge will be taken apart shipped to Michigan repaired and brought back to Watts Mill and put in place probably by fall. By rehabilitating the bridge into a walking bridge we save hundreds of thousands of dollars in demolition costs and preserve a historic locally made bridge. All costs relating to this bridge rehab are being paid by Penndot who were more than happy to save money by rehabbing and keeping the bridge in place.
